Event Training Overview

Our Pre-Season Conditioning Program is designed to help athletes ages 5–18 build a strong foundation across every event group. Whether you’re new to track and field or preparing for competitive season, our expert coaches guide you through age-appropriate drills that develop speed, strength, technique, and confidence. Beginners are always welcome! Each event area—Sprints, Mid Distance, Hurdles, Jumps, Throws, and overall Athlete Development—focuses on proper mechanics, safe progression, and having fun while getting faster, stronger, and more skilled.

  1. Sprints
    Acceleration, max velocity, block starts, relay exchanges.

  2. Mid Distance
    Pacing, race tactics, aerobic/anaerobic development (400m–1600m).

  3. Hurdles
    Lead/trail leg, rhythm, mobility, and approach.

  4. Jumps
    Approach mechanics, take‑off, in‑air posture, safe landings.

  5. Throws
    Shot/discus foundations: stance, rotation, release, safety.

  6. Athlete Development
    Mobility, coordination, strength, and injury‑prevention habits.
